It has been called the Australian foragers bible and I can understand why. This is the book you want if you are interested in foraging Australian natives to add to your meal. I use mine almost daily.
It is an easy to use field guide that is small enough to fit in your back pack, and includes a huge range of plants from all over the country. It is organised by habitat, with a detailed and biologically accurate description, usually accompanied by a picture. Some mention of use, and a small section on cooking foraged foods in the back. This book really stands out as THE identification guide, while you may want to look elsewhere for recipes and ideas.
The best field guide I’ve found yet for discovering wild food in Australia.
